An established luxury jewellery brand with a focus on zero waste production practices looking to boost their ecommerce shop with technical SEO fixes and a refined SEO Strategy. After an initial audit they agreed to further technical work and keyword research to support them further.

A full SEO audit to identify technical issues across the site and a plan of action for how they might tackle the findings.

Implementation

We conducted a full SEO audit, which included website analysis, on-page, technical, and off-page review and keyword and competitor market research. It highlighted a significant amount of technical issues especially duplicate content due to incorrect setup of other languages and shipping with three additional pages being produced for every one needed. The audit provided clairity and a plan of action for how to tackle these issues. As well as guidance on optimising the on-page content and a suggested content calendar which would support both products, product categories and their wide ethos around sustainable jewellery.Once the audit was conducted we reviewed the information with the client and their web developers to ensure they knew the actions to undertake to improve their site. They requested we undertake a large portion of the work to fix the highlighted technical and on-page issues, which we conducted over a 3 month period. Following that we provided a snap shot report of our successes and provided them with further actions to undertake to improve the site further, specifically in the area of speed optimisations. Following this their speeds improved greatly.They then requested a further targeted keyword report to help them develop their on-page strategy and improve the content for products and categories. We provided a full list of primary and secondary keyword for their top 20 pages as well as guidance on basic and advanced optimisations they could undertake.

Results

The client felt confident with the outcomes of the consultancy and felt they had a clear understanding of the barriers that were limiting their site. While they were happy to undertake some of the web changes themselves they wanted our expertise for some of the more technical SEO changes such as handle the issues caused by duplicate content.
